Thierry Nyann Bids Farewell to Media General After 10 Years of Service
Ghanaian sports journalist Thierry Nyann has officially announced his departure from Media General, where he served for a decade as a sports presenter and Head of 3Sports.
Reflecting on his journey with the media company, Nyann expressed pride in his contributions, saying, “I feel I have contributed fairly well in my time as sports presenter and Head of 3Sports. I attained a really good personal brand in the 10 years at Media General while playing a part in growing a number of shows and products.”
Nyann expressed heartfelt gratitude to the leadership at Media General, specifically acknowledging CEO Beatrice Agyemang and COO Mr. Nuamah-Eshun. “No one can tell me otherwise about your love and care for me, and I appreciate all the advice and support,” he said.
While Nyann had hoped to stay longer, he recognized that it was time to embark on a new phase of his career. “My wish was to remain there for much longer than this period. But…Unto the next chapter of my life,” he concluded.
Nyann also shared his appreciation for the friendships he developed during his time at Media General, noting that many of his colleagues had become like family. His departure marks the end of an era, but he remains optimistic about the future as he prepares for new opportunities.
