Sarkodie Responds to Kofi Mole’s Claims Over “Makoma” Video Absence
Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has responded to Kofi Mole’s claims that he was unresponsive during the video shoot for their song Makoma.
Kofi Mole, in a recent revelation, stated that despite multiple attempts to reach out to Sarkodie and his team for the video shoot, he received no response.
“I was ready to shoot a video but never got any response from Sark and the team after multiple texts and calls. I let that slide,”
Kofi Mole shared while responding to a fan on social media who questioned his promotion of the song.
Yaw Skyface, the video’s director, also weighed in on the issue during a phone interview, revealing that two separate dates were scheduled for Sarkodie’s involvement in the shoot, but he failed to show up on both occasions. This added to growing concerns about the rapper’s absence from the video.
However, Sarkodie has addressed the matter, denying any deliberate neglect. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he wrote:
“I have no idea about this, and if it actually happened, there was miscommunication somewhere. Only responding to this cos I got love for my superstar @kofi_mole. I don’t play games… I’m in or not.”
His response suggests that there might have been a misunderstanding or a communication gap between the parties involved. Fans continue to react to the situation, with some siding with Kofi Mole while others defend Sarkodie, citing the possibility of scheduling conflicts.
