MzBel- I have been exposed to married Men all my life
In a candid discussion on UTV’s U-Cook show with Empress Gifty, Ghanaian singer Mzbel openly discussed her personal life, relationships, and unconventional views on marriage. The celebrated artist revealed her preference for relationships with married men and explained why traditional marriage ceremonies hold little significance for her. According to Mzbel, most of the men who have been part of her life were already married, and she finds comfort in such relationships due to their reduced responsibilities and expectations.
“When you’re with married men, there’s less stress. They come and go, and they have to return home where they are needed. There’s no constant pressure like with younger guys. They won’t always be in your space, and it’s much more peaceful,” she stated.
She elaborated that being with someone who already has a family minimizes the level of commitment required, making the relationship less complicated and more suitable for her lifestyle.
When asked by Empress Gifty whether she had any interest in marriage, Mzbel was quick to clarify.
“Oh, I do, but I don’t want marriage,” she responded, indicating that she is content with her current way of life. “I’ve been exposed to being with other people’s husbands all my life, and I like it that way.”
Her statement emphasized how her personal experiences have shaped her perspective on love and long-term commitments.
Mzbel’s revelations have sparked discussions among fans and social commentators, with many weighing in on her perspective regarding relationships. While some appreciate her honesty, others question the societal implications of her stance. Regardless, her openness about her unconventional preferences continues to make headlines in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
