My wife and I have received several threats- Lawyer Kusi
Legal representative for Akosua Serwaa, ๐๐๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข, has revealed that he has been subjected to multiple threats due to his involvement in the ongoing Akosua SerwaaโOdo Bronii dispute. Speaking to the media after Akosua Serwaaโs arrival, he admitted that at one point he even considered withdrawing from the matter entirely because of the pressure and intimidation directed at him.
According to Lawyer Kusi, the situation escalated further when he decided to pursue an appeal. He stated that once the appeal process began, the threats intensified, with persistent attempts to discourage him from moving forward. The issue worsened when individuals involved in the matter extended the intimidation to his family, particularly his wife.
He disclosed that his wife was dragged into the controversy and also received numerous threatening messages. Concerned for his safety, she advised him to step away from the case, stressing that while the pursuit of truth is important, his life and wellbeing were equally valuable. Lawyer Kusi noted that this period was emotionally challenging for both of them as the pressure mounted.
Despite the intimidation, Lawyer Kusi believes the threats stem from the opposing partyโs fear of losing the case should Akosua Serwaa continue the legal fight. He maintains that their aggressive tactics indicate they are aware of the strength of her case and the likelihood of an unfavourable outcome for them.
