Corruption charges: Ghana football chief quits

The President of Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi resigned after hours world football governing body FIFA imposed a 90day suspension on him over corruption claims.

According to GFA website, Nyantakyi apologised “unreservedly” for “a series of errors of indiscretion” after FIFA launched an ethics investigation into his activities.
