UEFA should consider rematch against Real Madrid – Juventus fans

Juventus Fans in Nigeria on Wednesday night reacted concerning the decision of the referee who they said blew in favour of Real Madrid.

Supporters suggested a rematch for both clubs if possible, as they appeal to UEFA to take a deep review of the game.

Meanwhile, the Italian side Juventus, was sent out of the competition after the referee awarded a penalty kick during the finishing time of the second half.

Real victory has automatically progressed the team to the next round of the Champions League competition.

After the second leg of the quarter final stage, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, AS Roma and Real Madrid, got their tickets ready for the Semi-final Round.

On Tuesday Liverpool defeated league rivals Manchester City with 2-1 away win, also AS Roma defeated Messi’s Barcelona with away goal after they played 3-0.

However, Liverpool won City on Aggregate of 5-1 while AS Roma surprisingly qualified with an away goal after they played 4-4 on aggregate.

Bayern Munich qualified with a barren draw at home against Sevilla ending with an away aggregate win of 2-1.

Despite loosing 3-1 at home against Juventus, Real Madrid qualified to play the Semi-final Round with a 4-3 aggregate.

In spite of all quarter final match played, Real Madrid v Juventus got more negative reactions than the rest.

Juventus Fans who pleaded anonymity claimed the referee blew in favour of Madrid, adding that the robbing started when players from the Italian side were receiving unmerited yellow cards.

“The referee was in favour of the Spanish side because the match was destabilized after the referee gave almost all Juventus players yellow card.

“Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty goal is fraud. No foul was committed but the referee awarded it just like that.

“After awarding the penalty, issuing red card to Juventus goal keeper Buffon created a huge vacuum for the dine-minute goal.”

Madrid fans where however satisfied with the result, adding that nothing went wrong and the referee did a good job by awarding the penalty.

“The referee did his best to stabilize the game and nothing went wrong. The tackling wasn’t Friendly.

“Therefore, He had no option other than to award the Penalty.”
